Mother and father, especially in old age, are a door to Paradise. In addition to the responsibility to our mothers and fathers, we have a responsibility to those adults who have fallen into need.
We at Al-Selam have chosen to take care of these adults, and to bring them mercy and hope.
We announce a permanent cause "MERCY", through which we will provide food, medicine, and necessary medical examinations, which will be carried out by our doctors in the association. Anyone who wants can donate for a food package, as we want to provide food monthly for our adults.
- Our goal is not only to donate food, but to take care of the health of the elderly, and their everyday needs in everyday life.
- For our pride in the team of the association, we have wonderful doctors - professionals, who will try to provide medical assistance and a free examination on site, if needed.
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) in an authentic hadith that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The hand that gives is better than the hand that takes. And start with those for whose sustenance you are responsible. The best charity is that which is given with satisfaction (of one’s own and family’s needs). Whoever refrains from begging, Allah will prevent him from begging, and whoever is content with what Allah has given him, Allah will satisfy him.
THE CAUSE REMAINS CONSTANT
Al-Selam Association, at which meeting a decision was made, supported by all founders, which states that: "5% of the amount of each donation, which is not Zakat, shall go to operating expenses for the implementation of the association's activities.
The online transfer system that our platform uses (Stripe) charges transaction fees on each transfer in the amount of 1.4% of the amount + 0.5 BGN.
The example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. And Allah multiplies ˹the reward even more˺ to whoever He wills. For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.
