Allah the Almighty says: “Only he who believes in Allah and the Last Day shall maintain the mosques of Allah.” (Surah At-Tawbah: 18)

Guided by this verse and a sense of solidarity with people in need, we at Al-Selam Association have announced a fundraising campaign to build a mosque in a village in southern Niger.

Alhamdulillah, on July 31, 2023, the first sod was laid and construction began.

After a little over 3 months of hard work, we are happy to inform you that the construction and installation activities have been completed and the mosque can now function.

It is a little over 100 sq m and has a capacity of about 180 people. The project was implemented for 13,500 euros.

This is the place to thank all donors for your involvement in this good deed.

We also convey the sincere gratitude of the people of this village to all the good people who took part in the construction of the Al-Rahman Mosque.

The name of the village is: Tounouga and it is located near the border with Nigeria and Benin.
