Assalamu Alaikum, dear brothers and sisters! 🕌✨

The village of Gorna Dubeva is located in a mountainous area, Velingrad Municipality.

As with all previous mosques, here too there was a need to build auxiliary infrastructure - a room for ablution and preparation for the funeral (washing and sending the Muslim to his eternal home).

🎥 We had the honor of talking live with the imam of the mosque   Suleiman - an elderly, kind man over 80 years old, who during his life has built over 130 minarets throughout Bulgaria.

They are additional and are funded by individual donors, for which we also express our gratitude.

📅 After August 17, 2023, we launched a donation campaign for this project.

What was the collected amount used for?

According to information from Hodja Suleiman, the following activities were carried out with the funds:

⭕️MAIN GOAL: Construction of a burial room (Jenaze) next to the mosque (Donated funds over: 10,000 BGN)

✅ New curtains
✅ Partition for women
✅ New hot water boiler
✅ New washing machine
✅ New desk and other improvements
✅ Carpet 
✅ Blinds 

💬 Here we emphasize again that some of these activities were financed by additional donations outside the main campaign budget.
